What’s the game about?
it’s about fake books and ridiculous authors!

50 playing cards. Every card shows a unique—often ridiculous—fake book cover. Here’s how it works…
I grab a card and read out the author’s name…
You have to give me the book title.
the “Imagination version” (simple)
I take the card and read the author name.
You’ve never seen the card before.
OR IF YOU HAVE, TRY TO REMEMBER IT.
You can make up a book title to match the author.
The funnier—or the more believable your book title—the more likely you’ll win a point.
Which player gets a game token?
The Dealer decides!
Simple. Fast. Surprisingly fun.
the “Recall version” (the main game)
Now things get interesting.
This time, you have seen the cards before.
You just studied one, two, three… maybe even four playing cards… for a minute.
Remember the titles
I read out ONE of your author names.
Your card gets passed around.
The other players announce the author name as the card is passed around.
GUESS the EXACT title BEFORE it gets back to you!
Get it right → you score a game token… Get it wrong → you’re still in the game!
THAT’S THE GAME!
Ridiculous authors.
Plausible titles.
Quick to learn.
Hard to forget.
Can you get it EXACTLY right—right away?
It sounds easy… until you try it.
